What we collect

If you make an account: your email. When you talk to a pundit: the transcript of the conversation (what you said and what it said), and the minutes it took. Your voice is turned into text to answer you; the audio isn't kept. If a pundit belongs to someone's account, they can read its conversations — without your name unless you choose to share it.

How it's used

To run the pundit, to show its owner what fans asked, to bill the plan it's on, and to keep the service secure. We don't sell it, and we share it only with the providers that run the voice, video and language models under contract.

Live data

Scores, fixtures, tables, squads and headlines come from ESPN's public data. Banter is not affiliated with ESPN or with any league, club or player.

Retention and deletion

Transcripts are kept while the pundit exists. Delete a pundit and its conversations go with it; a saved reader can delete their own conversation; write to us to delete an account.
